Prestbury
Near Macclesfield this village is widely known as one of the
most attractive villages in the northwest, being a frequent winner
of Best Kept Village/Community Pride Competitions, with its 13th
century church and ancient buildings including the half timbered
Priest's House. Part of the village is a conservation area, with
many buildings being listed by English Heritage, four of which are
regarded as “Focal Buildings” and include the Bridge Hotel, Priests
House, Horners and Prestbury Hall.
